WHAT TO TAKE

REQUIRED

  • Adequate riding gear (or riding clothing). For example:
    - Riding pants
    - Helmet (we provide helmets, but if you’d like bring your own you can)
    - Riding gloves (recommended)
    - Riding boots or hard-soled shoes

  • RECOMMENDED/ ADDITIONAL

  • Long sleeved shirt
  • Sweatshirts or sweaters
  • Light Jacket
  • Heavy jacket (especially in early spring and fall)
  • Shorts
  • Swimwear for the hot tub and lake
  • Camera
  • Sandals or other light shoes (slippers; crocs) for going to hot tubs and for lounging at night
  • Hiking Shoes (if you feel your riding boots don’t offer enough support/traction)
  • Sunglasses
  • Prescription glasses, as necessary
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect repellant (April through July, but repellant is not completely necessary)
  • Wool socks
  • Mittens or gloves for around the fire at night (Spring and Autumn riding)
  • Campfire clothing
  • Notebook
  • Pens
  • Books/puzzles for on the plane
  • Headphones
  • Cell charger wire (with USB connection on one end is best.)
  • Plane tickets
  • Passport
  • North American plug-in adapter (for our European guests)
  • Travel insurance documents (have the wallet-sized card on your person when riding.)
  • Beanie hat
  • Knee braces, if necessary
